Susan Knox Director While Susan grew up in Minnesota, she has called Kirksville her home for over 22 years. Susan has always loved reading. She has early memories of visiting the public library to listen to story time and do research for school projects. She holds a master's degree in Literature from Michigan State University and a bachelor's degree in English from St. Olaf College. Susan and her husband have two sons and enjoy traveling as a family, especially on trips that allow them to run and hike together. Susan is passionate about supporting the library's mission to encourage reading and lifelong learning by providing resources and opportunities to the residents of Adair County. Sandie Ciccone Programming Librarian Sandie grew up in California before moving to Missouri to follow her family. She always had a passion for books and community and found herself able to serve her community by joining the library staff. Sandie worked as a circulation clerk for many years before joining the full time staff as our Programming Librarian. Sandie is passionate about everyone in our community and loves to be able to use this job to touch people's lives and support the local community. Sandie has three wonderful children.	Breann Turner Children's Librarian Breann grew up in the Brashear area and was always visiting the Adair County Public Library growing up. She attended Adair County R-II before going to college at Truman State University. Upon graduating college, she began her career in library sciences by starting at La Plata Public Library before being hired at Adair County Public Library. In her free time Breann enjoys reading, writing, and watching movies.
